I hate it when my idle mind reminisces back over the years, thinking about how exactly I got to where I am currently in life, and I can't help but think, "where the hell has the time gone?

Hello Chocolate, Goodbye Chicken Wings (& fried chicken)
So my first chocolate of the year was Thin Mints & Samoas Girl Scout cookies. It’s also nice to be able to eat Twix again. And I finally tried that new (well, not new anymore but new to me) Magnum Ice Cream Bars. They’re kind of pricey, but they’re pretty good.
For the longest time, I didn’t know what I was going to give up for 2012. It was kind of tough trying to pick out something that I really liked that I hadn’t already given up before. It wasn’t till maybe the end of November when I finally decided on chicken wings. In the weeks prior to that, I had been going to Wingstop and Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) a bunch. I figured that I really like chicken wings, so it’d be a good thing to give up. I’m gonna miss daytona wings at Hooters, desert heat at BWW, and louisiana rub at Wingstop. I’m also going to kiss Jaymi’s korean chicken wings. We usually have it during the cabin trip. But since I won’t be able to have any, I asked to make some before the new year. It was delicious, and I’m really going to miss it.
I’m also giving up all fried chicken. I don’t really eat fried chicken all that much, but since it’s kind of in the same category as chicken wings, which are usually deep fried, I said ‘why not?’. And to avoid any loopholes, I’m giving up all chicken wings, deep fried, baked, or however else it can be cooked. No chicken wings period.
It wasn’t till after I committed to fried chicken and all chicken wings when I realized what else I’d be missing out on. The main things for me were BWW, Hooters, & Wingstop. I really only thought about the “all chicken wings” part, not the “fried chicken” part. My cousins pointed out that I couldn’t have chicken katsu at L&L. The other day when I went to Panda Express for dinner, I couldn’t get their orange chicken. That made me realize that I also couldn’t have most restaurants’ sweet & sour chicken. But the big one for me, that kind of made me sad and almost regret this decision, is that I can’t have chicken karaage with my ramen at Santa Ramen, or any other ramen place. Freakin’ A......
Oh well. At least it’s not hella broad like chocolate. I can do this. And it definitely won’t be as hard as chocolate. That one was a pain in the ass. My dessert and candy options were soo limited. I’m glad it’s finally 2012.....for now.

Christmas & New Years
I'll keep it simple.....
my White Elephant gift:
Yeaup.....it's a Hello Kitty water dispenser, a Hello Kitty shot glass, and a bottle of patron. The bottle of patron is meant to in the water dispenser, cause it totally fits. I got this idea when I was at Costco standing in line to pay, and the guy in front of me had the same Hello Kitty water dispenser in one hand, and a big ass bottle of Grey Goose in the other. And he was with his 5 year old (or so) daughter.the white elephant gift that I ended up with:
Slushy "Magic". I haven't tried it out......yet. Everclear slushies, anyone?unexpected gift from Mikey:
