  • Volunteering with the madre

    I had been volunteering at the SF Food Bank and Glide a bunch of times in the past couple months, and the madre wanted to see what it was all about, so this last time, she tagged along. We kind of had it easier, since we worked the "coffee house", the separate section for the disabled or people with families, which is way less hectic than working in the main dining hall. She enjoyed it and would probably do it again if she has the day off. Now my other uncles & aunties want to do it too.
