    Lonely by 2NE1

It's a catchy slow song. Then I found the translated lyrics, and it's soo sad! But still, I can't stop listening to it.

    lyrics:

    [CL]
The words I'm saying right now, I don't know if they'll hurt you
They'll probably make you hate me forever

    [MINJI]
You, saying that I'm not the same as I used to be, is not completely untrue
This changed me is a stranger to myself as well

    [DARA]
    You are so kind but
That's the way you are but oh

    [CL] I don't know I don't know
    Why I am like this
[DARA] We were so in love, and you're here now but oh
    [MINJI] I don't know
[DARA] I want to find myself now

    [BOM]
Baby I'm sorry, even when I'm with you, I'm Lonely
I must be lacking when it comes to love, please forgive this horrible person I am

    [MINJI]
I'm sorry, this is your and my story
I must not be worthy of this thing called love, even though I'm by your side

Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

    [BOM]
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

    [CL]
You didn't do anything wrong, I'm the strange one
It seems I've already been prepared long ago, for our breakup
    [BOM]
I really wanted to treat you well, out of all the times, why is it when I'm confronted by love
I am shrinking away & am lonely endlessly

    [DARA]
    You are so kind but
That's the way you are but oh

    [CL]
    I don't know I don't know
    Why I am like this

[DARA] We were so in love, and you're here now but oh
    [CL] I don't know
[DARA] I want to find myself now

    [CL]
Baby I'm sorry, even when I'm with you, I'm Lonely
I must be lacking when it comes to love, please forgive this horrible person I am

    [MINJI]
I'm sorry, this is your and my story
I must not be worthy of this thing called love, even though I'm by your side

Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

    [CL]
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

    [MINJI]
    Cuz I'm just another girl
    This night is lonely, I

[BOM] Can't take any more, Good bye
[DARA] Cuz I'm just another girl
    [CL] I'm so lonely
[BOM] Even though I'm by your side right now
    Baby I’m so lonely

    [MINJI] Lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

[CL] Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely
Baby I’m so lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely

  • SMH, cont'd

So now I sorta know what it feels like to argue with an insane person. Here's the creeper's latest Facebook status, and associated comments. I'm trying to keep it going as long as I can. I'll post any other updates. I can't believe how he really just doesn't get it. His comparisons are so bad, too. They're not even related to what he's talking about.

(I couldn't take a screenshot of the comments since there are so many, so I just copy & pasted it)

Wait so wanting to have sex with a school girl is a criminal offense but having sex with a girl dressed up in a school girl uniform is considered a sexy fantasy!?! Can anybody out there please explain how that logic works!?!? Damn this stupid country and it's double standards!!

      • Christopher Bunggay There are plenty of girls in school over 18 dude
        6 hours ago ·
      • Jayr Mendoza yeah but you know the whole intent is to specifically target underage girls...
      • Eric Bunggay it's a criminal offense to have sex with a minor, regardless of what they're wearing.
      • Jayr Mendoza oh i know that..im just sayin what makes an adult female wearing a kids outfit any more acceptable..i think its either do or dont.
      • Christopher Bunggay That's your intent
        3 hours ago ·
      • Jayr Mendoza hey! haha

      • Christopher Bunggay so adults cant wear polo shirts and plaid skirts now?

      • Jayr Mendoza the point was it makes no sense this double standard bs that this country have.
      • Christopher Bunggay did you not understand anything i said? lol
        about an hour ago ·
      • Jayr Mendoza i did. but alright diff example...if i was your boss and i fired you for giving free food away based on word of mouth..would it be any different if somebody else brought tons of food home with intent not to eat it themselves but to actually give it to somebody else?
      • Christopher Bunggay that is a completely different situation
        about an hour ago ·
      • Jayr Mendoza point is...sex is sex, stealing is stealing and killing is killing. why does our society have this bullheaded tendency to decide whats right or wrong without thoroughly seeing every available option.
      • Eric Bunggay in your diff example, if i read it correctly, you're comparing getting fired for giving away food (that isn't yours) to someone giving food (that's they've bought) to someone else. that's stealing vs. charity.
      • Jayr Mendoza brought not bought sorry..maybe i should have said took home.
      • Eric Bunggay so what are the other available options of which you speak? women of legal age can not wear school girl outfits? making sex with minors legal? to you, in this particular case, what would make society's tendencies less bullheaded?
      • Jayr Mendoza
this country should be controlled better. psychologists would say that ppl with mental illnesses cant help themselves in most cases. yet society parades around callously not being fully aware of the situations they could get into. if the go...vt thinks sex with minors is bad..then thats cool but you cant deny that as of the past years these ignorant and to be quite blunt STUPID minors do nothing but aggravate and taunt at the situation.See More

      • Jayr Mendoza the ignorance of this country sometimes agitate me
        13 minutes ago ·
      • Eric Bunggay it's all a matter of perception: when you see a minor in a school girl outfit, you see someone who's stupid & ignorant, and who's taunting & aggravating you. when I see a minor in a school girl outfit, I see a minor in a school girl outfit. I don't make any assumptions on their level of intelligence or their supposed "intent" of their choice of wardrobe.

    update:

He replied with a comment that basically contradicted his previous comment, but then agreed with what I said. He really didn't give me any more ammo to fire back, so I really can't keep it going. Boo.....

  • Mothers Day Weekend

    Friday:
-Kimmie’s bday - got her some cupcakes from Frosted Cakery & a polaroid-style picture frame set from Urban Outfitters. I hope she likes them.

-Hadn’t been home in two weeks, & I had ordered a bunch of stuff and they all happened to arrive while I was gone, so when I got home, there were 12 packages waiting for me, mostly stuff maintenance supplies for the Mini, but also some camera stuff ("new" wide angle lens, lens cleaning kit, & gorillapod). It totally felt like Christmas.

    Saturday:
-Donated double red cells at Blood Centers of the Pacific in Fairfield. They wanted me to donate platelets, but that takes more than 2 hours. They say platelets are used for cancer patients and burn victims. I didn't plan on staying that long, so I said I'd do it next time.

-Met up with Jay & Owen afterwards, & had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings. We also walked around the mall, and doing that with them is always interesting because of all the stuff they say they want to get, as if they can afford it. On that note, they're not going to the annual cousins Battle of the Bay game (A's vs Giants in Oakland), cause they say they can't afford the $30 tickets. But this weekend Jay wanted to watch Thor in IMAX 3D, which is about $20, an extra $12 off a normal Costco ticket price. So much for saving money, right?

-Stopped by the Costco in Green Valley to pick up some sweet potato fries to bring to Brentwood for the fight. Near the entrance, there was a family with a sign saying they needed food. So when I was inside Costco, I picked up a salad & a hot dog at the food court, and gave it to the family. Why not, it was less than $5 and I didn’t have to go out of my way or anything. They were really happy and it made me feel awesome.

-Tested out my "new" 24mm wide angle lens (it's actually 25+ years old). It’s pretty cool. Need to get ISO 800 film now. And a flash, cause I'm still having some lighting issues. Here are some of the pics I took:

Cyrus thizz face, road rage face, or he's dropping a huge deuce.

    Jay smokin' some babies.

Cyrus admiring my new lens. "Oww, soo pretty.....I wanna touch" (twss)

Jacqueline and Crimson's "???" (umm, I don't know what to call it) face

Pre-fight grubbin at the dining table pic. Way too bright, I know, I know.....

Mid-fight group pic. Yup, now it's too dark (or the background is too bright, foreground too dark). I have to work on that. Oh, and blur at the bottom is Cyrus running around.

    - Watched the Pacquiao / Mosley fight in Brentwood. Mosley's girlfriend is pretty hot. That was more or less the highlight of the fight. Note to all other fighters: don't push down Pacquiao, that'll just piss him off and make him punch you more and harder.

    Sunday:
-Volunteered at the SF Food Bank. We sorted oranges. It was fun.

Yes, I'm wearing a Giants hat. I have an A's hat too, but I was in San Francisco, and they were playing that day, too, just a couple miles from where I was. So what? I'll wear the A's hat next time.

One Brick group pic. Photographer apparently didn't know how to work the zoom. Or step forward.

-Mother’s Day dinner at Auntie Minda’s house. We as a family have come up with this conclusion: family parties makes us all fat(ter).

For the most part, it was an unexpectedly awesome weekend.

  • SMH

What can I say? I shouldn’t be surprised. I sorta knew was he was like, but after spending the entire weekend with him, all I can do is shake my head.

Yeaup, I’m talking about Chris’ friend, Jayr. From the few times that I’ve been around him, I know he’s ignorant and offensive, but never knew the extent of it. Sorry if I'm putting him on blast, but I gotta get this off my chest.

It was bad right from the start. During our 4-hour drive down to SoCal, for some reason he brought up rape. He was totally using it inappropriately, like using it in ice breakers or pick-up lines to get girls or just blurting it out to a hot girl. We told him that it is almost never appropriate to ever mention rape. He tried using it in different situations and asking us if it was appropriate, and each time we’d shake our heads and say no. I swear, he views rape as a good not bad thing, that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Maybe 2 hours after meeting him, Mikey wanted to knock him out. Mikey was only around him during the concert, but pretty much the entire time, Jayr was shouting obscenities and other ignorant nonsense. He was complaining how he didn’t know what anyone was saying, that he needed subtitles, and he said this ever time anyone didn’t speak in English (mind you, we were at a KOREAN music festival). He was constantly proclaiming “da bay, mayn!!”, and also kept asking “where’s 4minute?!?!”, and just plainly yelled out “TITS!!!”. He was seriously pissing off the girls in the box next to us, and both Mikey and I were totally embarrassed to even be associated with him. Chris didn’t say anything, cause that’s his boy. When Chris & Jayr left after 4minute performed, Mikey & I apologized to those girls for Jayr’s behavior. They were, to put it lightly, really fucking pissed off at him, and they could tell that we both were embarrassed.

He mostly likely lost Tony during our car ride from Father’s Office to Diddy Riese, when he started a rant about how he hates the fact that there’s a law against pedophilia & sex with minors, and that he’s thinking of ways to get away it. And then he said if he were to get caught, he’d defend himself, citing how the Aztecs and Romans (or whatever) didn’t have laws against that kind of thing back in the day. WTF, right?!?! When he was saying all that, hella seriously & shit, I think we all (Tony, Chris, & I) collectively thought, “what the hell is wrong with you?” We tried to explain to him why it’s wrong, but he just wouldn’t (more like couldn’t) understand. He is seriously sick in the head. Even Chris couldn’t side with boy on that.

And I also saw another side of Jayr this weekend. Was it the good, “I’m actually a decent human being” side? As if such a side actually exists within him. No, it was the “I’m a creepy pervert” side. So we’re walking around the mall (Americana at Brand in Glendale) and we go into an H&M. Chris goes off and looks around, and I go off and look around too, but Jayr follows me. So I’m just walking around looking at stuff, and then I notice Jayr’s not next to me anymore. So I turn around, and Jayr’s standing in the middle a walkway, with his cellphone up taking a picture of girl (who’s just looking at some clothes on a rack) that’s maybe 10 feet about from him. No shame, not even trying to hide it or anything. And that’s just one example. He was doing this all weekend, basically where ever there were girls around. And sometimes, he even shot videos. Fuckin’ creeper status right there, man.

I didn’t have much respect for Jayr before this trip, and now I have even less, if any left at all. I believe his antics and behavior could mostly stem from lack of knowledge, but his lack of respect or common sense is mind-boggling. He just doesn’t know any better. And when people try to educate him, he just can’t comprehend anything. Chris knows this, tries to help him out, but nothing seems to work.

I’m sort of surprised, yet at the same time not surprised, that Chris is actually (still) friends with Jayr. Sad to say, Chris and Jayr are almost the same person. Their mentality and the way they think (about girls, in particular) is very similar. The big huge difference between them is intelligence level. Chris has a high school and college education. Jayr brags about how he dropped out of high school and how that actually having a high school diploma or GED won't help out his life situation at all. But most importantly, Chris has that filter/aspect, that most normal people have, called respect for others. He knows better not say exactly what he’s thinking all the time. He’s considerate of other people’s feelings. Definitely can not say the same thing about Jayr.

So yeah. I hope I never have to be around Jayr ever again. I can only hope that he seeks help.

    edit:
So I asked why Chris is still friends with Jayr. He said there are some perks, like getting free food at L&L. But most importantly, being around Jayr makes him (or anyone next to him) look like the freakin' best human being on the planet. I was hella dying, cause it's soo true. I had never thought about it like that.

  • KMF 2011 Weekend

    friday:
Westside Pavillion - We arrived way earlier than expected (surprisingly there was no traffic), so we maybe had 2 hours to kill, so we decided to stop by this mall. There were hella people chillin (studying, on laptop, reading, etc) on the bridge/walkway between the mall & Barnes & Noble, which seemed sorta weird. And then we started noticing that hella people were dressed up. We all felt hella under-dressed. Apparently there was a bar/lounge in the lobby of the movie theater that was next to the Barnes & Noble. I guess that's how they roll down here.

Father's Office - lots o' beers on tap & seriously, THE best gourmet burger I've ever had, hands down. I didn't even think to take a picture of the burger. Doh! It was sorta dark inside anyways.  The place was sorta small, had to wait for a table, but it was so, so, sooooo worth it

Diddy Riese - $1.50 ice cream sandwich, totally worth the 20 minute or so wait. Again, I did't think to take a picture of the ice cream sandwich until after I had finished it.

    saturday:

Rutt's Hawaiian Cafe - hella good hawaiian breakfast.  place was small, ended up sitting at a bar facing the street/sidewalk, but it was cool.

King’s Hawaiian (bread) french toast ftw!!

Beverage Warehouse - like BevMo, but with better & more beer

Koreatown Galleria - kpop music stores & korean market. bought some snacks to eat at the festival

Korean Music Festival 2011 - mostly awesome, just slightly embarassing, which I will elaborate on in a separate post.

Us in our seats. And Mikey's not even mad at Jayr yet.

View of stage from our seats in the Garden Box section

And a pic of rest of Hollywood Bowl behind us

The MCs: some guy who's name I forget and G.NA. She's Korean, but raised in Canada, so she can speak English fluently and was doing most of the translating.

So the original plan was for Chris to video the entire concert while I took the pictures. Well, security wouldn't let him in with his camera and made him check it in. I had to take the videos,
so I don't have a pics of any of the performances. I think Mikey took some pics, but I haven't gotten them from him yet.

Roscoe's - FAIL. no parking :( we circled around the area maybe 5 times and there was no parking anywhere. We were getting really hungry, so we just said 'eff it and went to Pink's.

Pink's - plenty of parking here, but wait was still 45 minutes. AT 1230AM!!!
f(x) went to Pink's after the SM Town Concert last year. Kinda hoping someone would show up from the concert this year, but no one did :(

    sunday:
Koreatown Plaza - killed some time before meeting up with Tony to go to Road to Seoul. Ended up browsing their market and I picked up a few things that caught my attention:

Korean BBQ rib flavored sausage. I love Korean BBQ ribs, so I was curious if they really got the taste in there.

The bottle is stone/marble and the box has pull-out handles. And it was only $10!

Road to Seoul - Surprisingly exceeded already high expectations. new $19.99 option adds “Road to Seoul steak” and super-sized mushrooms =  totally worth the extra $2. It was hella good.

Americana at Brand - hella nice outdoor mall. has Bellagio-style water fountain show. never would’ve thought a place like this would be in Glendale.

LA Creamery - crazy-sounding flavors (salted caramel, roasted banana), but they were hella good.

Glendale Galleria - the mall that never ends. seriously, hella big. it was good for us, though, cause we needed to walk off the Road to Seoul anyways.

Applebees - $3 jaggerbombs. It was hella dead, but a nice cap to a mostly awesome weekend

The schwag: 3 reusable bags, a mini fleece blanket, 3 Korean Air inflatable noise makers, an official KMF program, an LED light stick, and an orange pen. At the music stores, I bought f(x)'s and 4minute's latest albums as well as Brave Girls 1st single.

    Things learned this weekend:
    - Lots of excellent, non-chain "good eats" down here. Must come visit Tones & Mikey again soon.
    - I will try to stay away from Jayr as much as humanly possible. If I don't have to be around him, I won't.
